Granja de Moruelo to Benevente

It was a tough 20 mile hike today,  but Daan, Roberta and I covered it.  We started at 8 30 and made it into the town around 5 30. It was a tough even with frequent stops for food,  drinks and rest.  Our feet hurt and we needed serious rest.

We stopped at the supermarket,  got supper items,  and then sang a round of Row, Row, Row Your Boat in the dining room, and are now out for a beer.

In the albergue in Benevente, a re-purposed train station, alongside a pretty municipal park. It took some effort to find the albergue. Many residents tried to be helpful, but they would give us inaccurate directions. I'm clearly not happy (LOL).

The church in Benevente.

Tomorrow's plan is a 12 mile hike with plenty of time for laundry.

Daan, Roberta and I had lots of laughs on the road today.  Because I left most of my camigos behind when they left on the Camino Sanabres, it is nice to have this great company.
